Clare Challen (Clare Leigh Risque) Teacher Clare has been idolising the vertical bar for close on 10 years. She adopted pole dancing as her sport of choice as a way of escaping the daily grind of motherhood, to a world where women can enjoy expressing their femininity on their own terms. She believes that pole is an exhilarating dance form, where there is nothing more exciting than busting a new trick, combo or routine.
Pole has been an empowering and liberating experience for Clare, having been a State finalist in Miss Pole Dance Queensland in 2010. She’s previously performed in burlesque revues and other venues around brisbane.
Clare’s irreverent yet fast paced teaching style gets your heart rate up with movement and cheeky laughs.
With 5 years teaching experience behind her, Clare finds the best part of teaching is watching the joy a student gets from achieving their goals.
